In 2006, HKMB organized their
first Hockey Challenge for
Charity at the Ricoh Coliseum as
an opportunity for members of
the insurance industry to come
together for an afternoon of
hockey entertainment in support
of the United Way. That year,
with the support of Aviva
Canada, Crawford Canada and
National Restorations, we
were able to lay the foundation
for what some consider to be the
premier Insurance Hockey event
in the City of Toronto!
Since then our event has
continued to expand and last
year we partnered with a second
charity, Women in Insurance
Cancer Crusade (WICC).
Through the generous support of
our players and corporate
sponsors, the 2008 HKMB HUB
International Hockey Challenge
for Charity was able to raise
$9,000 for the United Way of
Great Toronto and an additional
$800 for WICC! With the
overwhelming response that we
have received from the success
of previous year’s event, we have
raised our expectations for this
year and we hope that you will
be part of the success.
You are cordially invited to
make a donation to support this
year’s event. There are several
different ways that your firm
can support the HKMB HUB
International Hockey Challenge
for Charity:
·
A donation of $800 – entitles
your company to two player spots
on the team roster and 25
free admission tickets to the
event.
·
A donation of $550 – entitles
your company to one player spot
on the team roster and 25
free admission tickets.
·
Alternatively, you can elect to
sponsor a player from HKMB to
participate on your behalf for a
donation of $250, which will
also include 25 free admission
tickets.
·
Program add spaces (business
card sized) are available for
$150.
Outside of player sponsorships,
all financial donations or prize
contributions are welcome and
sincerely appreciated.
We have expanded our
media coverage to include
layouts in three insurance
publications and ALL Corporate
sponsors will be recognized
within these articles for their
generous support of this event.
Please extend this invitation to
all of your staff to join us at
the Air Canada Centre and
support the event, the players
and the volunteers that
contribute their time and effort
to make this event a success.
We have attached a poster that
we encourage you to pass along
to your staff or they can visit
www.hkmbcup.com for
additional information.
Please let us know of your
intentions as soon as possible
as player spots are filling up
quickly and will be awarded on a
first-come first-serve basis.
Thank you for your consideration
and support. |
